HOSPITAL INCIDENT COMMAND SYSTEM (HICS) SMALL/RURAL HOSPITAL

JOB ACTION SHEETS AND FORMS

Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) is an incident management system based on the Incident Command System (ICS). Implementing HICS helps hospitals improve their emergency management planning, response, and recovery capabilities. Using HICS also helps hospitals interface more effectively with community response agencies during a disaster.

These Job Action Sheets have been modified specifically for small and rural hospitals to reflect the unique resource challenges these facilities face.

If you have questions about the Small/Rural Hospital Job Action Sheets or Forms, please contact Barbara Dodge (402) 552-3101 or bdodge@unmc.edu.
